Tom Warburton (creator of Kids Next Door) shows you step-by-step how to draw Numbuh 1 (aka Nigel Uno).

Tom uses his Cintiq digital screen to draw Numbuh 5.
Step 1) Draw a watermelon shape
Step 2) Draw 2 more watermelons for the sunglasses.
Step 3) Add 2 lima bean shapes for the shine in his sunglasses
Step 4) Draw 2 cookie shapes for her ear & add a letter T inside
Step 5) Next add nose & mouth with simple lines.
Step 6) Add eyebrows
Step 7) Lastly, give him some eyebrows and you're done!
Now you can show it to ALL your friends :)

Artist, Francis Manapul, shows how he draws Wolverine using the INK & WASH method. Francis did this quick sketch inside his hardcover sketchbook. He's drawn several titles for DC Comics such as Superman/Batman, Legion of Superheroes & The Flash.

Tools used:
1) 2 small paint brushes
2) water
3) ink

Francis begins using a basic outline shape of the body by loosely sketching. Then he wets the brush & dips it in ink. Before applying the brush to paper, he tests dabs it on scratch paper to rub some ink off. Using the Ink & Wash technique allows the artist to use different levels of opacity. This technique was developed by the Chinese hundreds of years ago. It's amazing to see it being used in modern day comics today.

How To Draw Goku by Evan Burse. Learn how to draw Goku from "Dragon Ball Z". I don't really draw anime characters much. This is only my 2nd time drawing Goku....ever. Today, the printer sent me the FINAL PROOF of the interior pages of the hardcover sketchbook. The pages look really good. So far, everything looks good. Once I give the final approval (today), the printer will start printing the hardcover books today. They should be delivered at my house around April 4th. Then the fun begins...with all the packing & shipping to the individual backers.
