Only this time, he adds, "I thought you said you learned Filipino before you came here!" You snap back in Filipino, "How was I supposed to know I was going to need to talk about animals in Filipino?" Rolling his eyes once more and laughing, he replies in language, "This IS a vacation...isn't it??"
