In this time lapse painting demonstration I show you how I painted a surreal above and underwater ocean scene complete with orcas, fish, and coral. I first painted this 19 years ago. I've painted it again now to show how much you can improve with time and practice!

In this speed painting demonstration I show you how to paint a surreal bird on a barbed wire fence and moon scene. It completed on 9/5/11 in a total of about 8 hours.
It was painted in acrylic (liquitex basics) and air brushing (com-art paint) on an 18"x24" gesso board.

Have you heard "rules" that other artists insist you must follow if you want to be a "real artist"? Don't shade graphite with a blending stump or shading cloth, don't use an eraser, don't use black paint, don't use a projector or lightbox... I think they're missing the point.
