In this time lapse painting demonstration, I show you how I painted a childs portrait by glazing layers of translucent oil paint on a Fredrix oil primed linen canvas board using Winsor & Newton oil paints. I started by painting it all in black and white paint. When that dried I went over everything with several layers of translucent colors. Thanks to Fredrix for providing me with the canvas.

In this time lapse drawing demonstration, I show you how to complete a portrait in colored pencil. I used Fabriano Artistico HP watercolor paper for this with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils and a few Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils. Some of the colors I used are listed below.

See how to blend and layer oil paint to create a realistic looking red eyed tree frog and fireflies! I'm painting a grisaille underpainting then glazing color on top to make this painting even easier and to get smooth blending!
