Drawing a simple Celtic heart pattern. This is a rough sketch idea which will most probably be drawn out again neater and added to my tattoo designs gallery http://www.tattoowoo.com

I first sketch out a heart shape, then double up the lines and begin to create a celtic knot weave around the outside of the heart. The lines are broken and filled in black with a little grey shading around the outside.

How to easily draw a Yin Yang symbol by Jonathan Harris

I start by drawing out a circle using a compass, then I draw a line through the center creating two halves. Then I need to divide the circle into two tear drop shapes by drawing an 'S' type curve. Then I draw around a quarter or coin for the two small circles that fit within the tear drop shapes.. Then once the basic shape is down I then draw around the yin yang with a fine line pen and fill the dark areas with a regular black marker pen.

How to draw a Cancer Ribbon in a simple tattoo design style.

You will see me first draft out the ribbon using a HB pencil, and then once I'm happy with it I then draw around the design using a fine line pen. I then shade in the design with prismacolor pencils.

Materials used: HB pencil, fine line pens (1.0) and (5.0) 110lb card stock, prismacolored pencils and kneaded erasers.
