In this video follow my 5 simple steps and draw your own realistic crystal sphere.


I hope you like this video and I hope it is useful and you have a go at drawing too! There are many ways to draw, this is just one way.

In this drawing the 5 steps I use are:

1. Draw around a circular object to get a perfect circle!
2. Draw all the dark tones you can see, wherever they are
3. Draw in the mid tones, with the side of your pencil, so it is smooth
4. Add some highlights with a soft white pastel
5. Add a shadow, with a pool of light in it. All done!

Circle Line Art School: Episode #331:How to Draw in 1-Point Perspective for Beginners: Train, Track and Platform Step by Step

The first step is to draw a horizontal line halfway up your page, next draw a across on the right of your horizontal line, this will be the vanishing point for this 1-point perspective drawing. All parallel lines going towards the vanishing point will look like they meet at the vanishing point, if you extended the lines all the way to the horizon.

How to Draw a Hole on Line Paper: Simple Art Trick

Step 1: Draw two vertical lines with a long gap in between, each vertical line is five lines high.

Step 2: Draw diagonal lines from each of the horizontal lines on the left vertical line, to the base of the rectangle.

Step 3: Erase the vertical line we drew on the left.

Step 4: Darken all the lines, make them as dark as possible.

Step 5: Shade in the right hand part of your rectangle, again as dark as you can.

Now look at your drawing from an angle and you should see a simple illusion of a hole in lines paper.
