Today I'm reviewing the Faber-Castell Polychromos and the Caran d'Ache Luminance colored pencils. I will talk about the main differences between these pencils and do a demonstration using both brands. These are my personal views and experiences with these two products. I'm using mona lisa odorless paint thinner to blend my pencils for the demonstration.

In this time lapse painting I demonstrate how to paint a great horned owl in acrylic paints and airbrushing. It was painted in acrylic (liquitex basics and heavy body) and air brushing (an Iwata with createx paint) /mixed media on a 11"x14" Fredrix NatureCore Paint Board. In this time lapse painting demonstration, I walk you through the steps I used in painting a horse in oil over acrylic paint on a Fredrix blue label ultra smooth canvas. I used liquitex basics for my acrylic underpainting, and Winsor & Newton for the oil paint. My oil mixing medium is Liquin.

In this time lapse painting demonstration, I show you how I painted a space scene. So often we spend so much time working on the next perfect masterpiece that we forget to have fun sometimes with our art and just paint to paint. That is exactly what I did in this piece. This is an 18x24" acrylic and airbrushed painting on a Fredrix Nature Core mixed media paint board. I used liquitex basics acrylic paint and createx airbrush paint.
