To draw in two point perspective start with drawing a horizon line. This is the line between the land and the sky and it is also the eye line; the height of the viewers eye.
Next add two dots on the horizon line. These are called vanishing points. Add two lines, starting from the bottom of your paper to one vanishing point, to make a road. All parallel lines, if they continued, would end up at one of these vanishing points, where they meet, always at the point and on the horizon line.
All vertical lines should be straight and parallel with the side of your paper. This would be different in three point perspective.
Draw the big shapes first and then add details. As the details in your drawing go towards the vanishing point, they need to be drawn smaller and closer together.

In this narrated art video I show you step by step How to Draw a City using 5-Point Perspective. 5 Point Perspective starts with a straight horizontal line, the Horizon Line. Then 5 Vanishing Points are added. In Perspective a Vanishing Point is where two parallel lines will look like they meet. The sides of a road or tracks of a railway never do meet, buy they can look like they do. In 5 Point Perspective you add a Vanishing Point on the left hand side of the Horizon, on the right hand side of the Horizon and in the center of the Horizon. Then you draw a vertical line going up and down from the center Vanishing Point and lastly you add the fourth and fifth Vanishing Point at the top and base of this vertical line. You are now ready to draw in 5 Point Perspective!

Make an animated optical illusion of Pac-Man in this step by step drawing! I hope you LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE: http://www.youtube.com/user/circlelinemedia
You will need:
Pencil, ruler, transparent plastic sheet with black lines drawn with a marker pen, something to draw a circle with and some time!
The key to this optical illusion is the thickness of the lines. In my drawing my final black pen lines are the same width as the gaps in the black lines on the plastic, and the black lines on the plastic are the same as 3 pen lines.
So the illusion works by only letting you see one in 4 lines at any one time. That means that each fourth line is part of the same drawing as the next fourth line! When the plastic with black lines is moved across your drawing, an animated optical illusion hopefully occurs!
I hope you like this video. Please click the link below to watch some of my other optical illusions, more are simpler than this one!

The Impossible Cube is similar to the Penrose Impossible Triangle, which I have also made a video of how to draw. They are both impossible objects if they were real 3D, but as 2D drawings they are quite simple if you are carful. It is an interesting shape to draw I think as the optical; illusion still works at an early stage. I found when drawing the Impossible Triangle that the key is to make sure the back vertical line needs to be to the side of the front vertical line!

How to Draw Fabric after a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci
Tom McPherson
Circle Line Art School
Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1452 in Vinci in Italy and loved to draw. He kept notebooks which are full of his thoughts and observations in words and sketches.
Leonardo is famous for painting the Mona Lisa, perhaps the most famous painting in the world. It is now in The Louvre in Paris. There are only around fifteen of his paintings that have survived, but there are many of his notebooks and drawings.
He drew whatever he was interested in and drawing was a way for him to understand what he was seeing. Sometimes his drawings are preparatory studies for parts of paintings.
The Drawing in this art video is from 'Drapery Study for a Seated Figure" by Leonardo da Vinci, ca. 1470-75. It is now in The Louvre, Paris.
The materials da Vinci used were a brush and gray tempera highlighted with white on a gray prepared linen canvas. The size of the original is 26.5 x 25.3 cm.
In this drawing you can see Leonardo da Vinci's obsession with how light falls on fabric. The cloth he drew from would have been made wet and then placed on a clay sculpture or mannequin and allowed to dry.
Leonardo da Vinci thought that all artists should keep a notebook or sketchbook to record what they see and notice before they forgot it.
Leonardo da Vinci died in 1519 in Amboise in France.
