In this painting of a little girl, I'm going to walk you through some important tips that you want to remember when doing your own colored pencil portraits or drawings. I've used Faber-Castell Polychromos and Caran d'Ache Luminance over an airbrushed background.

For this portrait, I airbrushed my background with createx airbrush paint thinned down with water.

In this time lapse painting I demonstrate how to paint a surreal landscape using oil paints over an acrylic underpainting. Jupiter emerges from a cloudy sky while an Adonis Blue butterfly perches on a dormant tree that grows on the Earth's surface. Add some random light bulbs and this painting is complete! As someone who has never enjoyed working in markers, I expected these Winsor & Newton Pigment Markers to be no different. WOW was I wrong! These lightfast markers blend almost like paint. I'm sharing my first impressions of these markers and giving you a lesson on some of the ways you can use them for blending, shading and detail.
