Сегодня я расскажу вам историю одной профессиональный команды велосипедного спорта. Называется она «Team Sky». Она была известна как одна из самых безуспешных команд. До 2002 года, за все 76 лет соревновательных выступлений на олимпийских играх, они выиграли только одну золотую медаль. Их репутация была настолько плоха, что один известный производитель запретил им использовать свои велосипеды, так как это могло негативно сказаться на бренде.
И тогда менеджеры команды наняли Дэйва Брайлсфорда, который раньше был профессиональным атлетом и любителем теорий технологических улучшений. Он решил, что применит одну из теорий на практике. Называлась она теорией незначительной прибыли.
Идея этой теории очень проста. Если ты улучшаешь множество мало значимых деталей бизнеса на малюсенький процент, скажем, твои сотрудники становятся на один процент более вежливыми, цена продукта снижается на один процент, и на один процент улучшается качество рекламы, то в конце концов, шажок за шажком, малюсенькое изменение за изменением, однажды ты сделаешь свой бизнес чрезвычайно успешным. Словом, маленькие, незаметные в данный момент изменения, со временем превращаются в масштабное преобразование.
Но насколько эта теория действительно сработала?
Новоиспечённый тренер принялся за работу. Для колёс велосипедов нашли чуть более лёгкие шины а для атлетов нашли слегка более удобные сиденья, они научились правильно мыть труднодоступные места в велосипеде, чтобы на них не было пыли, а соответственно, лишнего веса. Атлетам купили чуть лучшие подушки и матрацы, чтобы те лучше высыпались, они наняли диетолога и слегка изменили и питание под конкретные нагрузки, и даже выяснили, какое массажное масло подходит лучше для восстановления.
Все эти изменения просто смешны со стороны. Кто будет тратить на это своё время? Всё это звучит так маловажно. НО, если сложить сотни таких маленьких изменений, то в итоге получается великолепный результат. Так и произошло. В 2008 году на олимпиаде в Пекине они выиграли 7 из 10 золотых возможных медалей. А затем и повторили свой результат, выиграв 7 из 10 золотых медалей на следующей олимпиаде в Лондоне. Они выиграли 4 из 5 последних тур-де-Франс, чего ни одна британская команда ещё не добивалась.
Так чему нас учит эта история? Дело в том, что этому правилу следует большинство успешных людей. В биографиях и жизнеописаниях всех великих личностей вы обнаружите одну мысль, красной нитью проходящую через все их судьбы. Они всегда пытались стать чуточку лучше. Сегодня ты работаешь над техникой письма, завтра улучшаешь произношение, затем на один процент подкрутишь свои знания английского языка… И со временем шаг за шагом ты становишься заметно лучше. Тогда как большинство людей не считает нужным тратить время на незаметные, маленькие изменения, ТЫ приближаешься к своей цели.
Каждое мельчайшее изменение, о котором только можно подумать пособно по эффекту бабочки перевернуть твою жизнь с ног на голову, а ты даже не поймёшь, как это произошло.

У современных людей очень деятельный ум. Мы видим богатого человека и у нас в голове моментально возникает вопрос: что это он такое ДЕЛАЕТ, что у него столько денег?
Или встречаем 70-ти летнюю женщину, которая выглядит на 40 и спрашиваем себя, как она такого добилась, чем занималась, что кушала, что пила?
Ну, или видим олимпийского чемпиона и задаём ему вопрос: как вы тренируетесь, какие стероиды используете?
Да и вообще, все наши мысли очень связаны с деятельностью. Как построить бизнес, как найти верную жену, что читать, чтобы знать всё на свете и так далее.
И это наша главная проблема.
Ну вот представьте себе, есть чистое озеро, в нём плавают рыбки растут водоросли. Но вот пришла эпоха индустриализации и рядом с озером построили завод. Через год это озеро начало страдать, оно стало кислотным, рыбы в нём вымирают, а водоросли уже не растут как раньше. Тогда приходят экологи и начинают что-то ДЕЛАТЬ. Они очищают озеро от грязи, они засыпают в него минералы, она заселяют его новой рыбой и ставят целую кучу фильтров. Они много чего ДЕЛАЮТ.
Тоже самое мы. Мы спрашиваем себя: что нужно сделать? Но вопрос должен звучать по-другому: ЧТО ДЕЛАТЬ НЕ НУЖНО?
Чего НЕ делал богатый человек в сравнении с бедняками? Чего не ела и не пила 70-ти летняя женщина, которая выглядит на 40? Чего НЕ делал олимпийский чемпион в сравнении с другими участниками?
Мы поедаем бутерброды с колбасой, заливаем себя майонезом и пьём газировку, а потом спрашиваем себя, как вылечить рак? Каких бы антиоксидантов съесть? Какой бы крем намазать, чтобы кожа сияла?
Мы смотрим телевизор и ходим на фильмы марвел, а потом спрашиваем себя, как построить идеальное государство, чтобы и дороги были хорошие и пенсии высокие? На какой бы митинг сходить?
Мы развращаем наших девушек, а потом думаем, где найти верную жену?
Ну, и наконец, заполнив свою голову отборным мусором, спрашиваем себя, чтобы туда ЕЩЁ добавить, чтобы наконец поумнеть?
Источник наших проблем – это деятельность. Наша ежедневная деятельность. Просто она неправильная. И вместо того, чтобы очищать от грязи загнивающее озеро, пытаясь воскресить подводную жизнь, давайте для начала перестанем сливать туда отходы производства.
Я не полиглот, но со второго класса школы и до сегодняшнего дня изучал языки, причём довольно плотно. Иногда меня заставляли, иногда занимался сам, но мне всегда было это интересно. Поэтому к сегодняшнему дню, я уже многое успел попробовать в плане изучения языков, и в ближайших двух видео я расскажу о том, что мне известно.
