Two phalaenopsis orchids grow on the Earth and an asteroid in this time lapse painting demonstration. It was painted in acrylic (liquitex basics) and air brushing (an Iwata with createx paint) /mixed media on two 18"x24" Fredrix NatureCore Paint Board.

In this tutorial I walk you through painting a black and white portrait in oil paint. As usual I'm using a Fredrix Blue Label canvas. In this time lapse painting demonstration, I show you how I painted a quick little acrylic piece with a tornado and dandelion.

Today I'm giving you some tips on drawing / shading a cheetah in graphite to create realistic fur. I've used Ain 4b hi-polymer lead in a mechanical pencil (I can't find the 4b anymore. The "stein" line is not the same). A variety of derwent and prisma graphite pencils, shading tools, a tombow mono eraser, kneaded erasers and worked on Stonehenge vellum paper.
