The first step is to draw a horizontal line across your page, next draw a across on the left of your horizontal line, this will be the vanishing point for this 1-point perspective drawing. All parallel lines going towards the vanishing point will look like they meet at the vanishing point, if you extended the lines all the way to the horizon.

The concept was to present the dense architecture around Hong Kong. Buildings being drawn and placed at all angles, coming together to form a detailed / abstract like display of the city.
I know I haven't been uploading much recently, I have been busy creating this piece which is the largest drawing I have ever attempted. I like to go for quality over quantity especially with the work I produce and I am always looking for something new. I always want each video I create to be different and offer a new experience and so I am always planning and innovative and unique concepts to try and explore, not only through my drawings but also through the way I present them. Its like editing a time-lapse together is just as important as the drawing itself. Trying out new angles, mixing them with video clips and synchronizing the visuals with the music track - it all comes together to form another experience that works alongside the drawing. I have found a personal style to how I create my videos with it complimenting my realistic drawing style.

LION DRAWING TIME-LAPSE - 154 HOURS - REALISTIC PENCIL DRAWING
The Creator Episode 1. The Lion Drawing. King Of The Jungle
The drawing was created over the course of 3 months, prior to another 3 months planning and organizing a new series of drawings I am going to be doing throughout the year. The drawing consists of 154 hours worth of work, speeded up and then edited into the final time-lapse.
The Creator, is the title of a episodic drawing series I have planned. Not much can be said about the whole project as of now because as each video comes out more will be revealed and also build on the concept. For now, this is a small introduction with a few elements pointing in the direction the videos will be going in. Its a journey through the mindset of an individual and also a story in itself, expressed throughout the drawing videos and artwork.

This is to prove that you dont need the expensive supplies and equipment to make good quality artwork. Its how you use what you have. What Pencils Should You Use?!
When it comes to drawing there are a lot of different pencils brands and equipment out there to choose from. Sometimes it can leave you wondering what pencils are the best? Its a question that gets asked a lot of the time. Every artist has their own favorite. In this video I try to shed some light on the subject, and talk about my experience with a few pencils i have used over the years of drawing. It doesn't matter if you are using them for realistic drawings, for cartoons, anime, manga, design etc. You always want to make sure you are comfortable with the tools you are using.
