"It is four Euros for a pound," he answers. That seems a little high, but you want your pasta to taste good, so you splurge. You ask him where you can find the tomatoes, and he shows you a few that are six euros a pound. This time, you tell him in Italian, "Isn't that expensive?" The clerk shrugs and says, "It depends on what you want. The best tomatoes make the best sauce!"
