In this 3d perspective drawing for beginners discover how to draw in 2-point perspective in this perspective drawing lesson narrated step by step.

How to Draw a House in 2-Point Perspective:

I start by drawing a horizontal line to represent the horizon, the line between the sky and the land.

On this horizontal line draw two points, one on the left and one on the right. These are the vanishing points.

All vertical lines stay vertical!

The sides of the building will all be diagonal lines and they all go to the left or right vanishing points.

Learn how to draw The Impossible Triangle in 3D Anamorphic Optical Illusion.

The Impossible triangle is sometimes called the Penrose Triangle and is a 2D shape that you can draw, but it is impossible to make as a 3D shape. Anamorphic Perspective is a way of drawing where the image is distorted so that it only works from one angle and when viewed from this one angle will seem 3D, but when viewed from any other angle will look distorted.
In this narrated art tutorial I show you one way to combine both optical illusions in one drawing.

Step 1: Draw a X-Wing Starfighter, at an angle, further away things are bigger!

Step 2: Add shading.

Step 3: Draw a small notepad of line paper.

Step 4: Cut out drawing and look at it low down, from the smaller, nearer part!

Now we have a simple anamorphic illusion of a Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter.
