I'm a freelance artist and designer. I design flash for studios and also do custom work. In this video I'm drawing a quick simple tribal tattoo design. I first map out an idea in pencil and then remove the heavier lines with a putty rubber before Drawing around it in black ink. People always ask me where my ideas come from and how I draw my designs so I thought why not shoot some quick videos of me actually designing and drawing my tattoo designs. Just for the record my ideas don't come from anywhere in particular they just pop into my head when I'm holding a pencil.

How to draw Batman's logo in a tribal tattoo design style.
You will see me first draft out the Batman logo, and then once I'm happy with it I then start to add tribal shapes within the logo creating a unique simple tribal image.

Designing a tribal design for the name Brooke and Madison. This is a custom hidden tribal name tattoo design and you can get yours by going to http://www.tattoosbycustom.com and fill in a request form.
It's quite difficult to combine two names into a tribal design.. In this video you will see me erase numerous times at the beginning of the video when sketching out the design.. Before I create anything like this I spend a good 10 minutes or so thinking about the image and then once I can see it in my head I will then draw it out..
