How to draw Godzilla in a tribal tattoo design style. I first draft out Godzilla, mapping out the general layout with lots of rough lines.. I then erase some of the marks so I can start to work in a tribal design.

This was not easy to do with the camera in the way.. You will see my drawing hand in some awkward positions..
Just like in my other video guide showing how to draw out a triquetra.. In this one after I've mapped out the layout I add a double line and create a knotwork effect, just like the typical Irish celtic triquetra. Also, added a little shading to give it some depth.

This video basically shows how I sketch my subjects in paint.. I never draw them out in pencil first I like to go straight in with the paint.. I typically spend up to around 30 minutes drafting and then I go in and fine tune everything changing up areas as I go.

Free style sketch in real time. Designing a simple tribal Maori inspired shoulder tattoo design

I will show you the process I use when designing a tribal cross design. Its quite simple you first start by sketching a out a basic cross shape in pencil and then go around it adding spikes and curves until you see fit. Once your happy with it go around it in a black ink pen. Remove all unwanted lines and marks with an eraser and then fill it in black with a marker pen.
