In this time lapse painting I demonstrate how to paint a great horned owl in acrylic paints and airbrushing. It was painted in acrylic (liquitex basics and heavy body) and air brushing (an Iwata with createx paint) /mixed media on a 11"x14" Fredrix NatureCore Paint Board. Today I'm reviewing the Faber-Castell Polychromos and the Caran d'Ache Luminance colored pencils. I will talk about the main differences between these pencils and do a demonstration using both brands. These are my personal views and experiences with these two products. I'm using mona lisa odorless paint thinner to blend my pencils for the demonstration.
