The only quality family time you have is around the breakfast table. You have all agreed to speak Hindi during this time to ease your way into society. Every morning, you say, "Good morning," in Hindi, and everyone replies in Hindi. You then speak about your plans for the day and what time you will return home to grab a bite to eat, finish some last-minute errands, and go to sleep, before starting the cycle all over again. But as you sit down at the table this morning, it seems you and your father are the only ones who have made it. You ask in Hindi, "Where's mom?" He answers in Hindi, "She is brushing her teeth and washing her face." You are starving and really wish everyone would hurry up. You ask your father in Hindi, "Where is my little brother this morning?" In an annoyed tone, he answers in Hindi, "He is still in his bed waking up." Nice. You stare at your father for just a moment, trying to convey how hungry you are in your stare. Finally, he tells you in Hindi, "Oh go ahead! Eat breakfast!" Looks like you have broken this daily routine!

As you saddle up and head out over the hills, you spot some vultures in the trees. Seizing an opportunity, you call out in Hindi, "Look, those vultures are eyeing that cheetah's lunch!" Surprised, he looks at YOU and not the vulture. Acting as if you don't notice, and not missing a beat, you call out in Hindi, "Ooh, hurry! That quail is about to fly away!" Still looking shocked, he decides to try to trick you. He looks around and calls out in Hindi, "Those ducks, they are bobbing in the water." Calmly, you reply in Hindi, "Yes, there are a few in the water and few over there on the grass too." Finally you smile, rolling your eyes, and tell him in Hindi, "I guess birds of a feather flock together. You didn't think I was going to come unprepared again, did you?"
