Сегодняшнему поколению уже трудно представить, что еще каких-то 50-60 лет назад процесс глажки напоминал затейливый ритуал, а многие утюги были настоящим произведением искусства. Сегодня воткнул шнур этого бытового прибора в розетку, и гладь себе на здоровье. Умная машина и увлажнит поверхность ткани, и сама проследит за температурным режимом. Просто, удобно, но… никакой романтики!
А ведь еще полвека назад многие горожане и практически все жители сел для этой процедуры должны были хорошенько подготовиться. Заправить утюг древесными углями или хорошенько прогреть его на огне. Потом поддерживать в нем нужную температуру последующим регулярным подогревом или раздуванием тех же углей. Были и более экзотические типы утюгов. Сегодня подобную древность можно увидеть разве что в музеях. Но там представлены одиночные экземпляры этих романтических изделий.
Наш утюг мы привезли из поездки по Белоруссии. Состояние у него было, прямо скажем не очень. Но главное ведь поставить цель!!! Мы ее поставили - и справились!!!!
