How to draw line illusions - Pattern doodle sketch

This is my second try at this type of drawing. At first glance it looks as if I've drawn some curves but every line is straight well straightish.. This is freehand. But this time I thought I would add a little bit of pencil shading to make it pop more and also go for a more symmetrical design pattern.

Total Time: 11 minutes, 30 seconds

Materials used: 110lb cardstock, Sharpie, 2B pencil
