I started in this video by going over and describing a sketch that I had done and I am going to be using that as the basis for this drawing. I will also discuss a method of using a grid to help more accurately transfer over the drawing that was already created. I have always found that the initial sketch is the most important part of a drawing. It is the foundation and everything else gets placed on top of it. Make sure to fix any mistakes in this stage before moving forward. Once a nice solid foundation sketch has been created, some detailing can then come after. I will usually detail the elements of the drawing to an extent to help see more of what is going to take place in the drawing.
I hope that you all enjoyed part one of this new drawing series. Next part will show you the basic tonal ranges of the drawing as well as shading everything to a pretty close range of where they should be. I hope you all join me for part 2! Thanks a lot for watching everyone!!
