How to draw Sonic The Hedgehog by Evan Burse. The speedy little hedgehog with attitude. From the classic Sega video games and cartoons, to the modern 3D games and crossovers, the design hasn't changed too much.
How to Draw Sonic The Hedgehog step-by-step:
Start by drawing his head his head which is a big ball. His body is a small oval drawn at an angle. For now the legs are sticks and his feet are just triangles or pyramids for now. This is the basic shape of his body. Now let's focus on drawing his face and getting the details on there. Sketch his center line down and you're going to draw his eye line diagonally going away from his nose area. He has these huge eyes like Spiderman's mask just with his mean looking brows looks furrowed brow pointing down. His nose is like a pencil shape that is poking out. There is one pupil over here and you're going to draw in some simple guidelines, so you can match the other one with it. Next, tighten up his mouth areas by drawing a simple curve with the little cheek that he has. His ears have little triangles on top and the other side is turned away from us. His top fin or hair rather, goes out like a sharp fin. His second one comes down and goes just where his mouth begins. The last one comes out and ends at the base of his neck.
Next, draw his arms down .They are just straight lines. The palm of his hand is a circle, a basic shape. His fingers are kind of like bananas. If you need reference, draw your own. Now you're going to thicken up the lines in his legs. And add these donuts on his ankles. His shoes are just flushing out the big triangle. Sketch out each one out here, put the strap going across his foot. Now back to those donuts around his ankle. I did those because that's the basic shape of his sock. Instead of just drawing the sock, you want to show how everything has a shape underneath. His other arm is just resting on his hip. Now erase the construction drawing lines that you don't want. And darken in the ones that you do want. Lastly, shade in his arms.

How To Draw Chowder by Evan Burse. How to draw Chowder, from the cartoon Chowder. It's fun drawing Chowder. Here are step-by-step instructions for drawing Chowder.
Start by drawing a circle. His head, like most characters is like a ball or some resemblance like a ball. His body is pretty much the same thing. And let's go ahead and start with his face, his center line.
Now his cheeks are a huge part of his character and let's go ahead and draw his eyes in there right on the center line. His eyes touch, his nose sometimes touches his eyes. It's like a little shriveled up looking bean, or chewed up wad of gum.
Let's draw his smile like a huge letter "D". He has one tooth, I don't know why it's one sharp tooth but that's how the creator, C.H. Green Black created him. His pupils are pretty close together right there.
His head comes up here and he doesn't have eyebrows but his hat comes just above his eyes. Starting out they're like two triangle shapes that are just there. Let's bring that down a little bit. And his cheeks let's bring them out here just a tad.
And his collar is just like a big high collar and it points right in the center of his chest right down here. His arms come midway across his body right there almost like a triangle shape. Go ahead and draw his other one on his other side. Draw his fingers out here. And let's get his thumb over here. And his finger's this way. He has four fingers like most cartoon characters do.
His ribbon is down there. And his feet are just two half circles. That's his feet. Let's go ahead and finish his hat. To build on this triangle shape, it's just these round folds in his hat. And at the end of every ends in his hat he has three little finger looking like things, ruffles or ravels, whatever you want to call them. And the cuff on his hands right here.
And there you have it. That's Chowder. I'm going to go ahead and shade in his clothing and shade in that hat. There you go. You have it. I'll see you next time.

How To Draw Riley Freeman by Evan Burse. Learn How To Draw Riley Freeman from The Boondocks with these simple step-by-step instructions below.
Tools used:
Prismacolor Col Erase Blue Pencil
Computer printer paper
Here are the step-by-step instructions to draw Riley Freeman from The Boondocks
Begin drawing his head which is like a square. Doesn't have to be perfect. Just make it like any other regular square, sketch it loosely. Then we're going to add a triangle below that square. Now curve out the outer portion of his face, and then measure the half way mark between that square. That'll be the top of his eye line and the top of his ear line. Next we're going to draw the center line in there and then curve out the rest of his face. And his lower eye line -- draw that in there- and get the circles and halfway in between the bottom of the eyes and chin is the nose; and halfway in between the nose and the bottom of the chin is his mouth. It's just a simple shape you can put down.
Now working on that first eye, give him an expression with one of his eyes being kind of lower and droopy like. And since we now have the circles for - which provides the basic shape of his eyes- should go ahead and put in his pupils. Keep in mind that his pupils should always touch the upper eyelid unless it's an extreme expression where he has, you know, where you can see his pupils surrounded by white.
And for Riley and Huey the creators wanted them to have an anime style, so they're eyes are very anime. And they're eyes have changed slightly from their first season when they first came out. Draw a small cache shadow under his nose.
Draw his eyebrows to look real mean. Not like the devil, you know, but Riley normally does look always angry at something. Next, draw the wrinkles in there, between his eyes.
Now you're going to draw his ears. You can just look at your own ears if you want see how ears look. Although their ears aren't that special, Riley and Huey do have big ears for their character size. So go ahead and put a simple shadow in there. There we go, it should be folded back more towards the back of his head.
Now we're doing his braids, the braids are corn rolls. And think of them kind of as cables that go back over his skull. And then you're just going to drop each one individually in there. That's look better. On the far side of the head, the skull, the forehead overlaps the braids.
Next finish drawing his chin and jaw line.
Now sketch & render out his corn roll braids. Shade them in. And now work on his neck. You want his neck to be a cylinder, the basic shape of it. Draw in a little bit of detail on his T- Shirt here.
He has a dark-colored long sleeved shirt beneath his T-Shirt. Drop a cast shadow below his head on his neck. And now it's time finish drawing his corn rolls. They extend down. Here they're called braids. Corn rolls are when they are on the head and braids are when they are off the head, then shade those in. If you did a reverse shot of him he would have more hanging down his neck.
And there you have it! That's Riley. Thanks for watching
