This timelapse video shows how I draw a yellow apple, coloring with Tria markers, Fibre-tip pens and colored pencils and shading with pencils and paper stomp.
Some days ago, I found this video in an old VHS tapes...it was 1990, I was spending my summer holidays in Ischia
The days were long and almost every day I delighted to build sand castles
It was not easy, it was August and the beach was crowded
Children were eager to destroy it so I promised them that once finished they could destroy it
There was no Internet, there were no cell phones, everything was so slow...
the video is long, I know, but it is a glimpse of the past
I wanted to share it with you,
I hope you'll enjoy it

This is by far the longest drawing I did without a break: 11 hours and 40 minutes! It's an illustration commission for the packaging restyling of a Brazilian popular chocolate bar. The choco piece is a bit stylized and without shadows because it had to be included in a graphic design. Client then decided to not go ahead with the drawing version of the choco piece for a legal matter, opting for a photo to show the actual image of the product.
