Learn how to draw the lower back muscles. Full lesson at http://proko.com/anatomy
Last time, Pirate Skelly taught you the anatomical details of the lower back muscles, but don't you want to know how to actually draw their form? It turns out, a good way to explain it, is by using crepes and super wedgies. Knowing the forms of the erector spinae and the latissimus dorsi will help you to invent the back in your own figure drawings and creatures.

The muscles on the back of the upper leg are the hamstrings! And ya, they do kinda look like hams with strings… Or pistons, or cables, eggs, chopsticks, ice tongs, or fangs! There’s so many metaphors you’ll just have to watch the lesson to get it. I’ll teach you about hamstring anatomy and more importantly how to draw them.

Robert Beverly Hale used the size of the cranium as the unit for measuring human proportions instead of the height of the head. This method is preferred by many artists because it aligns with skeletal landmarks and it is more reliable when actually drawing a figure in a pose.

Aaron Westerberg is a renowned painter, who has a special talent and appreciation for color. In this preview of his new Masterpiece Demo, he shows you how he mixes flesh tones and uses the tiling method to paint the face. Flesh tones are usually misunderstood as a specific range of peaches and browns. But it’s unique to every painting depending on the environment and light. Greens and purples are skin tones too!
This is just a small sample of his 10 hour demo. Be a fly on the wall in his studio and watch the whole process, from photoshoot, color study, preparing the panel to final painting - http://proko.com/westerberg

There’s about 20 muscles in the forearm, but let’s try make it approachable. We’ll learn the forms of the 3 muscle groups and the tendons of the wrist. Premium lesson at http://proko.com/anatomy
The forearm is a complicated area with nearly 20 muscles overlapping and interacting. There are several patterns that make the forearm manageable to draw. It can be simplified into three main groups: the flexors, the extensors, and the ridge muscles. Each group has it’s own unique form. Learning their anatomy will help you design awesomely dynamic arms. It’s a fun and info-packed lesson. If you’re struggling with forearms, hopefully this will help.

Learn to draw the neck by understanding the anatomical details. Full drawing lesson at http://proko.com/anatomy
In this drawing lesson, we'll stick out our necks to examine how the neck moves and what muscles can be seen on the surface. We'll cover two very important muscles of the neck - the levator scapulae and the sternocleidomastoidus. You'll learn how these muscles move, where they attach, and other anatomical details that will help you when drawing the neck.
The trapezius is a major neck muscle, but we covered that last time, so make sure you watch it!

Digital painting is really versatile. You can make anything and work in any style, but what if you want your digital paintings to look like traditional paintings? In this video, Court will teach you about how to apply concepts of painting traditionally to your digital art with a focus on making it appear like a real oil painting. Huge thanks for Wacom for sponsoring this video.
