Drawing Alan Rickman - Snape from Harry Potter - Art Tribute by Mei Yu

Drawing Alan Rickman as Severus Snape from the Harry Potter movies - I'm drawing a great actor who is gone too soon. I was shocked and very sad to find out about his passing today. I wanted to use my art to express my feelings, my own little way of remembering this great actor. I felt drawing Alan as Snape was fitting for this artwork, because I think Snape is one of the most memorable characters from a series I love, and also one of Alan's most iconic roles. I wanted him surrounded by lilies and a doe to symbolize his love. He loved Lily, and lost her, but now, in a way, he's with her.
